Teaching

I believe that great teaching and research should inform one another. My work in the classroom is shaped by my research, and in turn, student conversations often sharpen my thinking as a scholar. I have served as the primary instructor for undergraduate Introduction to Management and Organizations.  I’ve also designed and guest-taught sessions on play and beauty for Jonathan Haidt’s Flourishing (undegraduate) and Work, Wisdom, and Happiness (MBA) courses, and served as a teaching fellow across undergraduate, MBA, and EMBA programs at NYU Stern. I stand on the shoulders of great teachers who inspired me, and I aim to do the same for my students: to help them think more deeply, live more meaningfully, and lead more humanely.

The primary objective of this course is to help students understand the elements that contribute to organizational and employee success, as well as some of the common impediments to high performance. The class is designed to be highly interactive, and applicable to the students' pain points.
